This was part of my Soul series. Painted almost entirely with a pallet knife allowed for my freedom of line in this abstract face. Song plays an important part in my art and I wanted to see how rhythm would carry throughout my creation. There is a song of the same title that has a distinct rhythm that repeats itself over and over and over....almost to annoyance.
